             景德镇陶瓷学院院长中国工艺美术大师秦锡麟教授

    世界的瓷都--景德镇，它辉煌的陶瓷历史，造就了一代又一代的陶瓷艺术家和能工巧匠，这其中也不乏女性陶瓷艺术家和能工巧匠，她们不断探索、不断创新，创造了一批又一批的陶瓷精品佳作。
    景德镇的女陶艺家满怀时代的激情，她们藉泥士这一温软、湿润的创作媒材，把女性对于环境，对自身的关注，及对自然的关爱，构筑成一种游离于男性世界以外的独特视角来观察生活、展现世界。女性生命个体的幽雅、细腻、浪漫、坚韧的自然属性造就了景德镇女性陶艺家的当代素质与品格。
    景德镇女陶艺家协会的成员中有来自于高等院校的教授、副教授、讲师; 江西省工艺美术大师，高级工艺美术师、工艺美术师等，她们思维活跃、技艺精湛，在过去和现在，为景德镇陶瓷艺术乃至中国陶瓷艺术的发展作出了重大的贡献，而在将来，我相信她们还将不断努力，不断进步，创造出更多的辉煌。
    随着景德镇的历史走进千年，景德镇的女陶艺家也在逐步走向成熟。在艺术创作多元化的时代里，她们具时代特点、地域特色、性别特征的艺术作品将成为当代陶瓷艺术创作的一个新的亮点。

    Jingdezhen, the Ceramic Capital of the world, has a glamorous ceramics history and it has produces many superb and skilled craftsmen generations after generations. This includes many women ceramics artists as well as many women skilled craftsmen. They continue to explore inquisitively, work diligently and make mew work creatively and as a result, they have made many excellent ceramics art pieces.
    Women ceramics artists in Jingdezhen are ready to express their emotions of their time. By utilizing the warm, wet and soft clay as a medium, they pay attention to expressing their own selves as well as their love of nature. They build a unique perspective that is different from their male counterparts to observe livelihood and to reveal how they see this world that they live in . The contemporary female personal and yet natural characteristics of elegance, quaintness, romance and toughness of the Jingdezhen women ceramics artists are truly made known in their work.
Members of the Jingdezhen Womens Ceramics Artists Association come from professors, associate professors and lecturers of institutions of higher learning. They also include Chinese national level Ceramics and craft artists, Jiangxi Provincial government recognized arts and craft artists, distinguished arts and craft artists and arts and craft artists. Their artistic thoughts are lively and their artistic skills are superb. They have made significant contributions to the ceramics arts in Jingdezhen and even towards the development of the Chinese ceramics arts both in the past and the present. I trust that they will continue to work hard to improve and create more splendid results in the future.

As Jingdeahen approaches the first millennium in history, the women ceramics artists in Jingdezhen are becoming more artistically mature. In this era of multi-faceted artistic creation, their work possesses the characteristics of their time, the area that they come from, and the gender they represent and no doubt, their artistic ceramics work will become a shining star in the artistic world.
