Mr. Shenghua Wu born in Bo yang, Jiangxi Province in 1941 and graduated from the Ceramic Institute Fine Arts of Jingdezhen in 1959. Mr. Wu is a Master in craftsmanship in Jiangxi Province and is now a senior member of Chinese Art Association.

Mr. Wu has devoted himself in art and craft design for over 40 years. The succession of teachings from famous artist Mr. Yu Hanqing and Mr. Liu Yuchen allows Mr. Wu to prefect his skills in Enameled porcelain, and he has created his own incomparable skill in practice. Besides, Mr. Wu has also succeeded the art of Chinese painting from Master Hu Xianya and Master Hu has commanded his artistic works as “full of rhythmic vitality”. The style of Mr. Wu is fresh, outstanding and with prosperous spirit while full of passion and a clam feeling is given.

Mr. Wu has participated in many national and international pottery and porcelain competitions and was awarded all the time since 1978. In addition, Mr. Wu has also participated in the design of national graded porcelain ware, souvenir to foreign ministry and porcelain used in “Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao ”. Many of Mr. Wu’s masterpieces have been collected and exhibited in different museums such as “China Modern Art Exhibition Hall” in Japan. His works are highly recognized in the world.

瓷板“春光浩荡”  Plaque “Enormous Spring Scenery”

作品采用釉上彩的装饰方法，运用兼工带写的艺术手笔，描画出牡丹（国花）、杜鹃（江西省省花）、茶花（景德镇市花）、紫藤、水仙、松、竹、梅、飞燕等各色花鸟，根叶相连，花团锦簇，相互呼应，勾勒出浩荡春光下一幅生机勃勃、欣欣向荣的繁荣景象。

The overglaze decorating method was used for the board and the fine and delicate painting style and artistic writing skill were applied to outline peony (National Flower of China), Azalea (Flower of Jiangxi Province), Camellia (Flower of Jingdezhen city), Chinese Wisteria, Narcissus, Pine, Bamboo, Plum blossoms, Flying Swallow etc. The painting of roots and leaves, flourishing flowers are closely collected to each other. The whole painting has fully presented a harmonious atmosphere and the lively and prosperous picture under the season of spring.

粉彩“春光”瓷瓶  Enameled Porcelain Pot “Spring Scenery ”

作品所绘瓷瓶质地洁白无暇，乃手工拉坯、利坯制作而成。作品巧妙运用洁白瓷面来突出陶瓷的材质之美，使缤纷的色彩与瓷质相映成趣。以工笔撕毛手法勾勒出一对知更鸟，写意穿插枝杆、水点桃花，动静相谐，赋花鸟以性情，既显得高洁素雅，又活泛出春天一片生机盎然的景象。

The pot is in itself has a “Pure White ” quality and flawless and the ware was hand made and refined. The perfect quality of the pot is reflected by its own clean and white porcelain surface with a contrast to the variety of colors. Graceful and fine strokes are used to outline a pair of robin, flying between branch and stem, together with water drops on peach blossom to give both bird and flowers personality. The picture is in a way elegant and also full of vitality of spring.

青花装饰“松鹰图”瓷瓶 Porcelain pot “Hawk & Pine wood ”

作品在釉下采用青花颜料工笔勾勒出老鹰：目光炯炯有神，鹰爪苍劲有力，写意画出山石、松树枝杆，神采飞扬，气势磅礴；釉上用几朵黄色花瓣加以斗彩点缀，给画面增添些许活跃气氛。
