As a ceramic artist and a diffusing massenger of ceramic arts, I am honoured to enjoy various art in various global areas that have different visages. Different nations have different elegant demeanors. All of these constitute a colorful world of ceramics. I widely know ceramic artists with diverse styles in the "global villages", Who are all precious cultivators and creators of world ceramic arts. Professor Zhang Xuewen is just a rare ceramic artist.
    Mr.Zhang is good at all kinds of ceramic decoration and model design. He specializes in under-glaze blue, under-glaze red and over-glaze decoration and synthetic colors, He has skilled technique of drawing and great ability of creating, as well as a high culture accomplishment and talent of academic study. He has both strong traditional skills and flexible modern consciousness. He has a favored character and an honest virtue. He is devoted to creating art and educational undertakings. Ms. Zhang is  cautious and
conscientious and therefore makes a great success. We can see his artistic style featured in this booklet. His art career is shown through this preface.
    I love modern ceramic art, which is combined by clay and fire as well as traditional ceramics which is combined by body and decoration. He is especially drawn to ceramic art with classical beauty and new ideas. They are supplementary and inseparable to each other.
