Zhang Zhenhai,
born in Jingdezhen City in 1945, is member of
Chinese Arts and Crafts Association, member of
Jiangxi Province Political Consultation Conference,
a member of the Standing Committee of Jingdezhen
City Political Consultation Conference, and
supreme arts and crafts master, and was awarded as
"Ceramic Master" at the Fifth International
Porcelain Arts Festival in 1994.
Zhang Zhenghai's father learned arts from Xu Shunyuan, the
great carving master and mastered his true arts. Cai
Jingtai, grandfather of Zhang Zhenhai was the
professor of Sculpture Department of a Porcelain
Institute and of the first porcelain artists. Zhang
Zhenghai studied the arts techniques from the family
and does well in carving, mould carving and
sculpture. His works has elegant and dainty style,
vivid and true. The carved works created by him is
especially exclusive, and is praised as the
outstanding carvings master in china. The sculpture
works of Zhang Zhenghai have been shown at many
foreign and domestic exhibitions. The great carved
works "Dragon Boat" is exhibited at the Beijing
People's Great Hall, the works "Autumn
Chrysanthemum, Grilled and Flowered Screen" is
awarded golden prize at the second Beijing
International Fair in 1991 and has been collected by
the Japanese Enba Arts Museum, the works" To The
West" integrates the micro sculpture, mould carving,
carving and sculpture into one piece of works, and
has a unique appearance. Zhang Zhenghai created the
first Woman God of Longevity and presented it to
Bingxin, the great literature maser of China, and
Bingxin wrote the following words for high praise of
the works:" Splendid Brightness". |
